El Tigre

I was working on quadrapedal motion, which as Richard Williams (Who Framed Roger Rabbit and The Animator's Survival Guide) states is the equivelant of an Ostrich walking behind a man in terms of movement. ... Anyway here's a tiger.

Nicholette and Kieran

I think the whole point of being a really amazing artist is to never actually be happy with anything you make.

These are two characters in a comic I'm working on."Familiar" (a play on the name of a witch's spiritual helper) is the story of a group of youths in the futuristic Phantom City, a floating experimental paradise where technology rules and wealth is depicted by ownership of any actual plants, something fiercely protected by the government from the lower and working class. The fragility and desperation of the planet becomes evident, and ideologies surrounding religion are tested when spiritual essence begins to make breaks in the world, which is dying because humans have forgotten the living aspect of it. Children discover they are able to share parts of their souls with these spirits in an agreement that grants the spirit a physical form, either that of an animal, or as a resemblance of one of the spirits past lives- in turn giving the human child the supernatural ability to control forces both elemental and spiritual.
Instead of heeding the warnings forced upon it, the citizens of Phantom city decide to instead enlist these powers and begin to form factions. Those of the Fundamentalists, a large religious organization,  and Antidote, a pharmaceutical conglomerate that owns most of the city, and caters to the idealized features of the wealthy, are soon at war while police commissioner David Byrd struggles to keep either side from employing the city's youth.
